Montessori Dayspring of St George puts on a Christmas play each year to help children in Africa. My oldest two were in it, and they both did a great jorb. Here are some clips from it.

For Natalyn’s birthday we had a fashion party. All of the girls (and me) dressed up in their best outfit or play dress, and then they got dolled up. Aunt MaLynda came to help as well as some of the teenage girls from Meg’s class at church.

After playing some games outside, the girls made ice cream sundays, then Natalyn opened her presents. After that I played the Fashion Director and instructed the girls on how to properly perform on the runway while the Ladies did their hair, nails, and a touch of make up. For the record, I did have to lookup instructions on runway modeling, that’s one area I’ve yet to perfect on my own. And I painted a couple of the girls nails (poor things).

At the end, when their parents got there, we had a fashion show where each girls took a turn on the runway to the applause of the crowd. Then there was a short dance – one song -where the girls got to dance with their parents and show their moves. Even though I had to wear a bow tie, it was a blast and I think Natalyn had a very memorable party.
